Abstract	The article deals with the problematic aspects of the criminal liability of persons whose criminal activity was interrupted in the stages of preparation to commit a crime and attempted crime. Describes the features of differentiation stages of preparation and attempt, as well as attempt and completed crime Examined legal regulations concerning the characteristics of punishment for uncompleted crime, are allocated deficiencies of legislative constructions and formulated directions of their improvement.
